How to use tools in Adobe Photoshop CS 5 to add make-up to face.

In this tutorial you will learn how to add custom make up in Adobe Photoshop. I'm gonna be using an image of a face I found on Google. Let's start.

Step 1. Always start by unlock the "Background" layer. You can do it by double-click on it and then clicking on "OK".

Step 2. Add new layer.

Step 3. Using basic brushes and tools, create basic eye shadow, lip gloss or blush. I would recommend you to create a new layer for each object (lip gloss, eye shadow, blush) because it will allow you to change their color by using hue/saturation tool.

Step 4. Now you are almost done. All you have to do is change your make up layers style to "overlay" so open up the menu and change "normal" to "overlay".

Step 5. This may not be required but as you can see, the blush is a bit too bright. To corrent this, just change blush layers opacity. I changed mine from 100% to 31%.

Step 6. Most of people want to make their eyes stand out by adding false lashes effect. It is actually very easy to do since there are hundreds of different style custom lashes available online. To learn how to install them, click here. So what you need to do is pick the right brush that works best for you and draw your lashes on a new layer. Make sure that EACH brush preset is used on a NEW layer. Never do 2 lashes on 1 layer. Then, by using free transform tool, make them the right size and angle. That's it.
